Douglas Grant BSc
Douglas has had 20 years’ experience focused on the hotel and leisure sector covering hotel operations, sales and marketing, finance and property. He specialises in supporting investors and operators in all aspects of Business Development. This has included work on specific assets and project work at a strategic level.
He is a graduate in hotel and catering administration and a fluent Portuguese and Spanish speaker. His career background includes roles within the hotel industry (Inter Continental Hotels, Gleneagles and Forte), in Investment Banking and Asset management (Nomura International and Phoenix Inns), and Consultancy (Horwath Consulting).
His work as an independent – forming Douglas Grant Associates: www.dga.uk.com - spans the last 10 years with a variety of clients providing hands on interim support and consultancy input through Market Assessments, Planning related assignments, Asset Management, Commercial Due Diligence and Business Plans.
He has recently worked with BMR Hospitality on a number of projects in the UK, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
